HEAT

Heat is a roleplaying game for one-shot scenarios about criminals dealing with the consequences of their crime.  Inspiration includes movies like Reservoir Dogs, Heat, or Goodfellas.

By the end of the session, the characters are dead or broken. They either go down in a hail of gunfire, or they will find themselves cutoff from the very things that drove them to engage in such a desperate, risky endeavor in the first place. At best, they lose themselves in a life of crime that becomes self-perpetuating and they grow increasingly self-destructive.

Playing Heat is about discovering what that looks like. No one should play to win; you should play to lose in an interesting way.
